Who is at risk?


People at higher risk of skin cancer are people with:


  • Pale or freckled skin that burns easily
  • Family or personal history of skin cancer
  • Use of solariums and other tanning equipment
  • Occupations that involve outdoor activities
  • Many moles, and moles that have irregular shape and uneven colour
  • Weakened immune systems - using immunosuppressive medicines or have immunosuppressive disease

  • Bulk billed skin check only for specific lesions with no further costs
  • Please be aware that a full skin check will INCUR A FEE
  • A full skin check means an examination of the skin of the whole body
  • Bulk billed biopsies and excisions of skin cancers with no further costs
  • We do not bulk bill excisions for COSMETIC PURPOSES
